Providing a Safe, Peace-filled home for Success in Structured Living

Our Mission

Provide safe, structured, and affordable residential facilities for women active in
12-step recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. Our mission is to help individuals move beyond treatment into lives of stability, purpose, and hope through quality housing, strong community, accountability, and faith-based support. At Shalom House, recovery is more than following rules—it is about restoring hope, rebuilding confidence, and creating a stronger future.

Housing

Shalom Sober House offers a safe, structured living environment for women who have been sober a short time (usually 30-90 days) and need stability and support in setting and maintaining recovery goals and commitments. We encourage and assist our residents in becoming productive members of the community by developing and practicing healthy life habits based on the spiritual principles of 12-Step recovery.

Sober living residents at Shalom House benefit from a shared commitment through community rules, curfew, house responsibilities, and regularly attending recovery meetings. Our residents have a built-in peer support system, which is proven to help people stay sober longer. If utilized, the community prevents loneliness and isolation, which is often one of the challenges of early recovery. Residents have the flexibility to gradually take on more tasks and personal responsibilities as they adjust to sober life outside of rehab.

All-Inclusive Living

Shalom House facilitates a communal effort to assist women who seek contented permanent sobriety. Our focus is to help residents assume and uphold responsibilities, foster connections with peers, be proactive in recovery, and work toward fully independent living.

We believe your environment shapes your success, so our home is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood and has been updated to give our residents a sense of pride and dignity. The house is fully furnished and clean, providing many amenities and environmental stability. We truly care about our residents, and believe our people are the heartbeat of our community.
